The Chaotic Campervaners Road Trip Playlist part 2

Image
If you're returning after  last weeks blog , welcome back.  If this is the first time you've seen one of our collaboration blogs with  The Chaotic Campervaners , then make sure you go back to where it started with our first joint  blog . This is the Chaotic Campervaners sequel to their popular  road trip playlist . If you like what you read, please head over to see what else they have to say about camping and campervans,  here. Campervan Road Trip Playlist (Part 2) Unlike Volkswagen Camper Adventures playlist, my playlist doesn't include songs that provoke precious memories. The reason for this is that I want to hold tightly onto the response that these tunes give me. I feel that if I play them too often, that (as a friend once said) 'they might wear out'! One such tune is Arthur's Song by Christopher Cross. This reminds me of being in a friend's car many years ago. This friend always drove old bangers that often broke down and we always ended up having '

My Campervan Playlist (part 2)

Back in July, in collaboration with  The Chaotic Campervaners , we posted our  camper van playlist , and due to the popularity of said blog, we're going to bring you part two! Like last time, we've teamed up with the 'Chaotic' ones, and will publish their blog on the 18th September. So... without any further ado, I bring you playlist, part 2! (Ooh ooh, that rhymed! 😁) 1. Surfin' U.S.A. by The Beach Boys.  Well, what do you expect from a family of beach lovers?  The 60s superstars are a big hit in our van, and also featured in part one of our playlist, with one of their later records, Kokomo. 2. Rockafeller Skank by Fatboy Slim.  This tune was massive when it was released in 1998.  It also features in a famous dance scene in the 1999 film, She's All That. 3. At The River by Groove Armada.  Sampling Patti Page's, 1957 Old Cape Cod, Groove Armada made one of the most beautiful chill out tunes.  I often use it for beach scene videos on our social media pages or

The Chaotic Campervaners Playlist

Our  last blog was a collaboration subject, with our VW camper friends  The Chaotic Campervaners .  This publication is the first part of their campervan playlist. There is nothing better than setting off on a road trip. The open road stretching out in front of you, the excitement of the adventures ahead. Tootling around the countryside, we (The Chaotic Campervaners) love to listen to our favourite tunes. ...So we created a playlist of loads of tunes that we thought were perfect for playing in our campervan when we are on a road trip. Have a look, see what you think and let me know if you have any favourite road trip tunes. Why You Should Own a Campervan

If you are considering buying a campervan, this is why you should: This is Wyatt; Wyatt, is a converted 2001 short wheel based Volkswagen Transporter T4 1.9TD 800 Special. Wyatt was converted from a panel van, in to a two berth campervan in 2017. Whilst I've been the owner of Wyatt, I have made further modifications to fit my family of four. Most importantly, a pop top bunk, to increase the sleeping capacity to four berth. They make camping easy. I've always enjoyed caravanning and camping, along the length and breadth of the UK. Having the campervan, makes pitching up that little bit easier. All you need to do, is park up! No more winding down stabiliser legs or pitching your tent in the rain (I said I enjoyed camping in the UK, afterall), and no more packing a soaked through canvas into an impossibly tiny bag (I'm actually quite good at this, but prefer not to do it). More importantly, no more wondering whether your tent will make it through a night of gale fo
